Angela’s Boy in Charlie Hat with Pom poms

Sideways head

Look, Mom made me a new hat!

Size: Toddler

Yarn: Dream in Color Everlasting Sock, Crisp

Needles: 3.0mm/Addi Turbo US 2 16″ cable

So I did put on the pom poms on his hat. They are made out of Dale of Norway Baby Ull scraps. I must buy myself a Clover pom pom maker set in the smaller size. Making pom poms with the cardboard template is for the birds. I want to make more of these hats for Christmas and three pom poms each will not happen without the cool tool. Plus I already have the large set so it really just completes my collection (see, that how you sell it to your significant other when they want to know why you have multiple pom pom makers.)

Mommy did let me have pom poms on my hat.

We have started a Charlie’s Hat Knit a long (KAL) in the Knit ‘n Needle group on Ravelry. A number of us are making them for Christmas gifts and for grown ups. Come join in, we would love to have you!

PS You might want to go check out the home page, something very nice (hint, hint awesome Christmas gift) is on sale.
