Happy Thanksgiving to all! May it be time of joy and blessing for you and your family and friends!
Please note: This pattern set is no longer available for free. It can be purchased on Ravelry here: Sugar Pine Hat or Sugar Pine Cowl. When you purchase either of the patterns you will automatically receive the other.
Aimee has just released a new pattern, Sugar Pine Hat and Cowl set. Made from super bulky yarn, they will fly off your needles and into your winter wearing rotation in no time.
Shown above made in Boboli Quick, new yarn from Berroco this fall. It is three strands of Boboli plied together for a gorgeous super bulky yarn. The rayon in both Boboli and Boboli Quick gives them a sheen that glows when knit up as you can see clearly in the pictures of the ever lovely Denyel, fabulous shoppe employee, teacher and knitter.
The stitch pattern in the Sugar Pine Hat and Cowl is intuitive and easily memorized. You can easily customized the size of your hat or length of your cowl.
We recommend these yarns for the Sugar Pine Hat and Cowl. Click on the yarn photo to see all colorways and to purchase.
And now as the final touch to your new Sugar Pine set, a gorgeous Annie Adams shawl pin. These pins are beautifully crafted of lead free pewter. Click photo to see more Annie Adams designs as well as our other shawl pins designs. These shawls pins have been discontinued.
We hope that you enjoy this new pattern! The test knitters enjoyed it and a number of them were finished in an evening or two. It has finally gotten cold in my neck of the woods (southeast Wisconsin), I am bored with my current hat, maybe I should go stash diving so tomorrow I will have new hat. Plus, I do have the lovely Annie Adams shawl pin that needs to see more wear.
Stay warm and happy knitting!
