Here it is as promised, our very first video tutorial at Polkadotsheep! Hosted on YouTube on our very own channel, you can watch to your heart’s content and learning enjoyment.
I hope this helps you in knitting the entrelac section of the Crown Jewel Hat. It really isn’t difficult especially once you have done the triangles or rectangle one time. It is amazing to watch it all to come together.
Join us in the Ravelry thread to knit with us, share your project progress and ask questions if you wish.
Happy Knitting!

Is there a mistake in the Crown Jewel hat for toddlers. I keep ending up with an extra stitch when I start the top triangles?

No, not that I am aware of. I have also made the toddler myself. Do you end up with just one extra stitch at the end of the entire round or with an extra stitch each triangle. The first thing that springs to my mind if you have an extra stitch in each triangle is that you are forgetting to slip a stitch somewhere. In the top triangles you slip the first stitch on both the knit and purl rows. If you are a member of Ravelry (it’s free) I suggest you might want to join us there too.
